5 month old wakes up screaming?

Last two days my LO has been waking up inconsolable, doesn’t want the boob, not happy held in any position. Takes us several minutes to calm him down/wake him.

Today he also had 5 small mucusy stools and felt very warm (to me, thermometer showed no elevated temp but I hold him 24/7 and he isn’t normally as warm as he was).

He never really cries ever? And these are screams, he sounds like he’s in pain?

Planning on calling Dr tomorrow but wanted to see if mamas had any idea?

Teething? Cold?

I feel awful :(
