Please help, jaundice level for newborn yesterday was 14.9

Tiffany

Our little boy was born on October 3rd and had a big hematoma on his head. His due date was October 30th so he was a little early. He was had his bellirubin taken 3 times already and the yeasterday's result was 14.9. We have to go again today and I'm worried because it keeps rising. I know it's different everywhere but does anyone know at what jaundice level do newborns need to receive phototherapy in an incubator. The doctor's won't tell me shit and I'm worried. My first son and we jaundice so I know about the sun, breast milk, and pooping as much as possible. I just don't know the level that it becomes dangerous because my first never got extremely high 🤷

Update: We went yesterday and got his blood tested again at 2 pm. I keep calling every hour or 2 for the results and the doctor was always to busy to review the results. Well 8:30 pm were told it's 15.2 and they are gonna call us in the morning to come in and do phototherapy for 24 hours. Then get another call at 9:15 pm telling us to go ahead and come in. So we went ahead and he he's been under the light since 12 last night. From a 15.2 to a 12.1 over night and praying it continues to drop 💓 thank you all.

Update #2: We we're finally released from the hospital last night, 16 hours in the incubator and his bilirubin dropped to 10. So blessed to have my baby home and healthy. ❤️ Thank you all for your comments
