11 month old doesn’t talk?

Is it normal my daughter only says dada. And when I ask her thing she just nods or shakes her head to reply yes or no. 
Around 9 months she was saying ya mama dada hi hey 
And now. Nothing.

Sounds like my niece. Watch and see if she starts talking again or if she stops completely. My niece could say mama and dada and sit. By the time she was 2, she wasn’t talking. She was diagnosed with moderate to severe autism. She’s now 3 and in school full time. She is getting occupational therapy as well. She is starting to talk again. Just say something to the doctor at the 1 year appointment and they will also monitor her speech.

I would watch it and see if it keeps decreasing. My daughter is over 2 and had the same problem. When we got her tested, they said she had autism. Shes very smart, but just doesnt talk.

My daughter would do things like clap and then not do it for a long time and then do it again. She would say a couple things and then wouldn’t for a while. I figured she was just working it all out in her head. She is 14 almost 15 months and says about 15 words now. But every baby is different. Maybe bring it up to pediatrician when you go in for a visit.

My nephew just wasn’t a talker. He could follow simple instructions, I would say better than most his age, but not a word. He’s 7 now and just stopped speech therapy this year but was diagnosed with ADD. He’s a thinker and really needs to concentrate on what he’s doing. But my point is there is nothing seriously wrong with him! He’s a great kid. Bring it up with your pediatrician, but don’t freak out prematurely, some kids just need to go at their own pace.

Every baby is different. My son barely said anything at 15 months. He only said momma, dada, and uh-oh. He’s now 16 months and has only added the word more in to that mix and sometimes will say pop-pop. 11 months is super early. I didn’t expect my son to say anything at 11 months. He only say dada then.

My 12 month old doesn't talk at all or nod responses.  He acknowledges his name and "no". His doctor was not concerned at all.  Is it that these other kids regressed or should I be concerned too?
