We help family and friends if they are low on food. 
Also homeless too.

I coupon,  so i donate much of our excess non perishable food to our local food bank.  Even a can of veggies or a box of pasta is helpful to give to people.  As for homeless people on the steeet, I usually don't give them food, because o had one person be really rude to me and say they didn't want food, they wanted money for beer. So I guess that person ruined it for me.

Yesss! I have homeless friends! They are so sweet. Every time I see them I go buy them a meal and give them cash if I have any. I gave a guy 40 bucks one time and he was so happy. I love helping people in need! It makes you feel good. I always wish I could do more though.

I would say yes. But there’s a difference of someone in need and someone that takes advantage and uses you. Say you were in a casino and someone was begging for money you would think so they really need help or am I enabling their gambling addiction. If it’s someone on the street. First thing I do is look at their shoes. If they are the latest shoes in mint condition and are healthy nope there are professional beggars that drive Mercedes, they use their kids or they have 80 grand in the bank. They figured they make more money doing that than working. I have seen it first hand. If I see them with the latest sneakers.  I don’t. Or I know the ones from the casino that do it  constantly. It’s one thing to be homeless due to different circumstances it’s another to take advantage and use. Same goes with friends. You always pay and they never do that’s not fair. If they are truly in need yes I help. If they are taking advantage no I do not.
