Question

I’m 30 weeks today and since 25 weeks I’ve been measuring ahead, I was 2-3 weeks ahead at my 25 week doctor appointment. We went to my 28 week midwife appointment and she said I was measuring 4 weeks ahead. If I continue to measure ahead and my 32 week scan confirms it is there a possibility that my baby will be born early or is there anyone who’s baby has come early while they’ve measured ahead?

Answer

I’ve always measured ahead with fundal height. At my 26 week ultrasound baby was measuring a week ahead; had my 31 week ultrasound today and baby is nearly in the 90th percentile do measuring big 🙈 I’m also on Clexane and have had blood pressure issues on and off throughout the pregnancy and baby is breech. I know for definite if she is breech at 36 weeks I’ll need a section but because she’s measuring so big now along with everything else I’m not sure if doctor will suggest inducing early or having a section; I go the doctor next week so I will see then 🙈
