Should twins have similar names?

Personally I don’t think so. If i ever had twins I would walk them to have something completely different. Sometimes twins already feel like they aren’t separate people. Especially if their names are almost the same and they get dressed the exact same.

I’m pregnant with twins and we have a few names that start with the same letter, some names which sound similar, and some completely different on our list! We’re still in the process of narrowing it down but I don’t think we will end up choosing any of the ones that are really similar. We’re waiting for Friday to confirm but we were told at our 12 week that she was convinced it was a boy and girl and that she hadn’t been wrong yet so we’re looking at boy girl names. I think everyone is different but the ones that are currently appealing to use are different sounding! But we started looking at similar names!

I think it’s all personal preference. Personally I would want my twins to have a similar sounding name. Or at least same first letter. But some people would disagree for their own reasons. It’s whatever you feel

My twins dont exactly match malachi and cyrus but both their middle names is manuel after their father. Match if you want make sure you love the names and not just choosing them because they match.

My twins have names that are the same style. It was important to me that one name didn’t stand out more than the other, and having names that are completely different styles, does that. It was also important to me that they weren’t matchy.  I don’t understand why people try to be super matchy when naming their twins. Why not use two names you love instead? Especially if they go well together. 
I myself would only use the same first initials if it was by coincidence that they were my favorite names and had the same first letter.

My grandma is a twin. Her and her sisters names are arlene and Darlene. And twin uncles Ricky and Micky. And twin cousins megan and Morgan.😊
