Our Journey to Baby...

I’ve been on Glow for a few months now because my husband and I are ready to start a family. I’ve never posted before, just read and oohed and aahed at all your beautiful posts!

Today I’m posting because I think I need some peace of mind and clarity. I NEVER thought I would have fertility issues. I have been on birth control since I was 13. No one ever tells you that you could have underlying issues that the BC hides. Well we found that out that hard way.

I went of BC in February and thought everything was fine. Skipped a month and then had 2 periods in a row. Didn’t see my period again after that. Went to the doctor and he started throwing out words like PCOS, irregular ovulating, etc. Not things you want to hear when you’re a newlywed and wanting to start a family :/

So all that to say, we are in our second round of Provera and this time he added Letrozole. I just wanted to know if there was anyone else out there that had similar issues and/or had to take similar meds and if there is hope at the end of the tunnel. Trust me, I know there are some people that have it worse and i probably sound like a whiner, but just looking for some peace of mind to help sort through all of this!!
