What do you like to do?

New SAHM here and I’m looking for something new to get in to, so tell me about yourselves! What do you like to do.. what are your favorite hobbies? Give this bored mama some new ideas 😊

I’m not a mom yet but I recently left my job to take a sabbatical for a bit after 20 years of non stop work. 
I love to garden. I love being able to walk outside and gather food. I’m starting to take up canning to save us more money as well. 
I also love to cook. I’ve been trying new recipes and we’re eating a lot healthier.
I’m reading a lot. Re reading the entire Harry Potter series at the moment. 
I’m learning American Sign Language.
I’m doing a lot of little house projects. I’m going to attempt to tile my bathroom soon. I cleaned out and organized my attic, shed, closets etc. all those little projects and chores I’ve always wanted to do I finally have time for. 
I’m also doing a lot of crafty things that I always wanted to do. I’m currently making a stand for our fire pit out of railroad spikes. I’m learning how to weld, use a wood burner, how to cut glass, etc. I make different things out of salvaged and found materials and my next outdoor project is to construct 2 rocking chairs for my husband and I out of pallet wood. There are a million different hobbies you can take up!

I like growing succulents. They're easy and require minimal effort, but still rewarding. Also, I like listening audiobooks during my downtime, or doing light yoga/meditation. There are tons of YouTube videos with guided yoga routines that you can finish up in just a few minutes.

Starting building a busy board for baby this week... don’t know how it’s going to turn out but hopefully entertaining :) also on « future learn » there is a bunch of free online courses about every possible subject

Crocheting is my favourite :) seriously so relaxing and therapeutic! And not to mention addicting! It takes some practice and a lot of patience though. I’m a pregnant stay at home wife and it helps so much to pass time while my husband is at work.
