This birth story to me is kinda crazy..

My whole pregnancy was pretty easy and I’m so thankful for that.. the only slight issue we ran into was the baby was breech the whole time.

As her due date got closer & closer I just “KNEW” she was gonna be here early and I was gonna have to have a c-section. Everyone around me thought I was crazy and told me she had plenty of time to flip.

Well at my 35 week doc appt she still hasn’t flipped & the doctor recommended we try an inversion (trying to turn the baby)... I didn’t have a good gut feeling about it but I trusted my doctor and he said let’s go for it.

We scheduled the ECV for October 3 at 6:30am... now with this procedure there can be complications so they had to have an OR ready in case of an emergency c-section.

I set my alarm for 5am & went to bed the night before anxious.

My alarm went off and as soon as my feet hit the floor my water breaks.

I could not believe that this was happening neither could my husband..

We get to the hospital and everyone thought we were there for the inversion, when I told them my water broke their jaws hit the floor..

They get me into a room and check everything out and of course the baby was still breech.. they then tell me i of course was gonna have a c-section.. at this point everything is happening sooo fast I can’t even process it

.. i ask them when we were going down for surgery and they said “hmm in about 20 minuets..” 😮😮

We had our baby in our arms at 8:02, she was born 3 1/2 weeks early & weighed 6lbs 3oz. She is such a happy and healthy baby.

I guess she decided she wasn’t gonna be turned that day and wanted to surprise us early.

She is the love of my life & being a mommy is such a indescribable feeling.
