I made a congratulations post to my sister on Facebook. She’s 18, and got accepted into the Australian Air Force today after studying her ass off.

Anyway, everyone was commenting “congratulations...blah blah blah.” Then a couple of people commented that our parents must be proud that they have one child who will do great things. I replied that I’m enrolled to start a Midwifery course in March, and they replied that I won’t do it for long, having two kids and all, and that it doesn’t make as much money anyway. Gee, cheers. 😥
