I know this isn’t the birth story group, but I felt like I should share my experience and some of the signs I noticed before my water broke.

OCTOBER 7th

On Oct 7th my mucus plug came out, I was kind of freaking out because 1.it never happened to me before 2. I thought omg I’m going into labor. I googled what my mucus plug coming out meant and even made a post on here... long story short it didn’t really mean labor was going to happen that day or maybe even that week

We’ll, two hours after my mucus plug came out I was having contractions but they were way too far apart 25-30 minutes and I just brushed them away because I thought it was false labor.

The contractions did not stop and although they were so far apart, each one was 90 seconds long and literally took my breath away.

OCTOBER 8th

I decided to go in to L&D at 4am and thank god I did because with each contraction I had my baby’s heartbeat went down and they explained to me she wasn’t getting enough oxygen so they scheduled a NST (non stress test) and it turns out she was fine (thank god). They sent me home around 11:00 am. I was still having contractions but they were 12 minutes apart and I didn’t want to waste my time going back to L&D unless they became closer. Later that night I couldn’t sleep for nothing in this world. I started timing my contractions again and they were STILL 12 minutes apart!! I went to the restroom and thank god I looked in the toilet before I flushed and there was my bloody show. My husband told me to get some rest because if anything happened tonight I was going to need it.

OCTOBER 9th

I woke up at 3:10am to my strongest contraction and at the peak of my contraction i felt a strong kick from my baby and my water broke. We rushed to the hospital, they checked my cervix and I was at 3cm. I was due for a repeat scheduled csection and my little Brooke made her debut at 5:46am
