How to refer to your baby before you find out the gender?

We’re not going to find out the gender before birth—that’s a long time to awkwardly say it/him or her/etc. Any ideas?

All of the above, also bug, turd, parasite, ect. Dont get me wrong I love this baby and thank God every morning but this lil one is hard!

So far it’s been “it” or “the baby” or if my husband is feeling brave “the parasite”. I only laugh at “the parasite” when I’m feeling particularly drained lol.

My kiddos have named “him” Oliver! I’m only a lil over 7wks but they’re convinced it’s a boy and they’re naming him 🤣 Oliver it is (for now) their lil sister is named Olivia so I’m assuming that’s where it came from 🤷‍♀️

So far I say baby but my fiance is so convinced  it's a girl he calls baby "she". When he leaves for work he says "goodbye all my ladies" which really confuses my 5yr ok'd daughter 😂😂
