Please give me some reassurance! Our pup was neutered yesterday and it has been so hard since we picked him up. We have stairs in our home and we all sleep up there, so keeping him downstairs has been hard for all of us. He loves to be on the couch with us but he’s not allowed to jump up there. He has not gone to the bathroom since we picked him up yesterday afternoon and we are worried about that. He can’t seem to figure out his cone that he has to wear and runs into things constantly. He doesn’t want to get in his kennel because his cone hits the sides when he moves around inside. Plus, he is a hound and has to sniff a TON and the cone makes that impossible so I know he’s frustrated by that and I wonder if that’s part of the reason he hasn’t gone to the bathroom. And he is super active and always wants to run and track and play. So I basically just feel like he can’t do anything he is used to doing. My husband tried sleeping on the couch downstairs with him last night because he wanted to keep an eye on him and had a really hard time. Is it going to be easier at some point or is the whole next two weeks going to suck??
