Cutting to the story short. I had to save a bunch of money in short time, and I did that. It’s part of my plan to leave a toxic situation. (Mind you it my place I’m willing to walk away from)

So Im not in any immediate physical danger. (Even though you honestly never know)

I’m prepared and willing. Not Married, not even cellphone companies are shares. No kids, so it’s an easy get away to make it simple but just a dead end relationship to say the least.

To my question, how much money can I legally have in the bank. Let’s say it was a gift from a friend, for the sake of this story.

So is the limit on what you have in the bank 10k or 20k or more ie. or does the bank or (irs which I don’t owe a dime to) will it bring me an issue?

I already have enough to deal w on my plate. Thanks a bunch. Stress and dead beats don’t hold me down. Even though I want to break down and scream and cry for 10min straight! 😜
