How did you and your SO meet?!

Ok ladies, so i am currently in my TWW and i need to keep myself busy because the wait is killing me.🙄🙄🙄
I thought it would be fun to read all the stories about how y'all met eachother, was it love on first sight, how did it became a romantic thing.

My childhood best friend had moved about 5 hours away from where I lived and was getting married.  I decided to drive up and go to the wedding.  She had become good friends with my husband about 3 years prior.  She told me we should sit together at the wedding since both of us would only know her and her family.  We met at her wedding and hit it off immediately.  I had the opportunity to transfer for work to a location closer to where he lived  and took it 2 months after we met.  We got married yesterday...less than 6 months after we met.  I never believed in the saying “when you know you know”, until meeting him.

My now husband and I met in 7th grade but we never talked or hungout. Then senior year we  were assigned to sit together for graduation practice and we also had to walk down the aisle together. Then when we all went to senior week in OC, Maryland we ended up seeing each other there and starting hanging out. 11 months down the road we found out I was pregnant (2013) when we were 19. We finally we just got married at our dream (budget friendly 😂) wedding this past June. We’re TTC our 2nd now!

Me and my husband met online actually on plenty of fish. He messaged me on there and was like "I think I know you?" (He lived about 30 mins from my hometown) I messaged back "Nah, I'd of noticed someone like you." He says "well maybe I can get to know you?" I was like pof is for hit it and quit it most of the time so if he wanted to get to know me then he'd have to prove that wasn't him... So fast forward 2 months (I made him wait 2 months before I even met him) had a bad day at work and told him I was going to the bar to drink a few and if he wanted to meet then he should be there about 830. I was leaving at 9 since I had to be at work at 6 am. Well he didn't show up til 9:10 (he's lucky I stuck around cause I was leaving and of course was not impressed because of his tardiness lol) but we talked for a few mins and then closed down the bar (2 am.) Then had a very long make out session and I finally went home. The next day I told him we were going fishing. And he agreed and we haven't left each other's side since. That was almost 3 years ago and we just got married last month (Sept 29th) and have 1 beautiful baby girl and one on the way due in March.

I met mine at a rodeo. I was running a food stand. He came up with one of my friends.  He’s just got back from basic and introduced himself. I said “yeah I know who you are” because i knew his sister. Fast forward later that night he tries to fight some other guy whom was hitting on me at the street dance. Couple weeks later he messaged me on Facebook for my number. We were just friends for a year before becoming fwb that turned into husband and wife. Been together seven years and are expecting our second child in april

We met in high school.... I was sophmore and he was a freshman. He walked into the classroom and in that moment I knew he was going to change my life. That was 13 years ago and we are celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary today and have 2 amazing sons

We’ve been neighbors for like 3 years but we’ve never talked or ever stood by each other face by face, I always thought he was a married guy but never seen him with any woman, me and my mom would always see him leaving in his car or getting home bcuz I’d always be on my porch relaxing, I was starting to like his way of dressing, but I had a crush on a guy that lived next to his house that would stare at me everyday. One day I could to my crushes house telling all the guys that I’m looking for a new friend, I didn’t like talking to my awkward crush so I get ready to leave home, so then my now boyfriend drives by and tried talking to me and I really liked talking to him then he invites me for to go out to eat that moment and I jump in his car and we stayed in contact till now (one year later). We live together now and we’re happily having a son together.💙

My boyfriend and I had run in the same friend group for years. However he is four years older and he wasn’t always around so we didn’t know each other very well, we only knew of each other. For years we admired each other from afar, not knowing that the other was interested. Finally, after 5 years one of our mutual friends texted me asking if I was single... I was like, we literally had this conversation two days ago, yes I’m single. He’s like okay well I have someone who’s interested in you. At first I got nervous because my friends boyfriends were always trying to play match maker for me and I never liked the guys they tried to pair me with. When he told me who it was I was like no way yeah right. He’s like no seriously he’s asking about you. So my friend gave me his number and I was like just let him know I’ll text him later cause I’m at work. Well I couldn’t wait until I got out of work, so about 20 minutes later I texted him (my now boyfriend) and we slowly started that awkward get to know each other conversation. At the time he was working nights so I would stay up and text him until 1am every night, and he would sleep a few hours and then get up and text me all day, even when he wasn’t supposed to at work. We hung out one weekend after talking for a few weeks. I had friends over for a fire and he came over too. From there we hung out every weekend. Then, he started calling in to work on Tuesdays. Tuesdays were my days off from work so he would call in to spend the entire day with me. After a month we went to our mutual friends birthday party. My dad had come to the party so that’s actually the first time they officially met. Well later on he (my bow boyfriend) had had too much to drink and wasn’t able to drive (and he told me he loved me). So we came back to my house and he stayed the night. In the morning I had to work at 11am, so I took him back to our friends house so he could get his truck. He was sitting in the drivers seat with the door open and his legs hanging off the seat and I was sitting on the running board between his legs while he hugged me from behind. It had been long enough that I needed to know where he and I stood. I needed to know where our relationship was going. So I was like “so um, are we together or...” and let me tell you, it sounded a whole lot better in my head than when it came out of my mouth. His response was “I kind of thought we were already.” That was all I needed, I just needed confirmation that what I thought was true. 
We’ve been together about a year and a half now. ☺️

My husband and I met on Bumble (a dating app). Went on our first date on May 13th 2017. Started dating 5 days later. He said it was love at first sight, but I fell in love with him a little slower. But not too slow. We moved in together July 2017. Engaged August 2017 and married September 2017. We have been married just over a year now and I love him more everyday. Today has been crazy full of love because we got our positive for our rainbow baby ❤ I cant wait to parent with him. Hopefully you will get your positive this month too.
