Scented tampons??

Hey yall. I accidentally picked up the wrong box of tampons and got scented. I usually get unscented because of the UTI risk. How common is it really to get a uti from scented tampons? I don't want to worry if i dont have to.

It’s not a UTI risk, it’s the issue of irritation from whatever they use to add scent.

Scented tampons literally make my insides hurt........ I find them super unsafe for me personally because I get infections really easily. Got BV every time I used the scented ones

I never use anything scented that has to do with vaginal products. Pads, liners or tampons. It always caused me to get UTIs, and BV. The worst.

No UTI risk. It’s the chemicals they use to scent the tampons that are no good. I wouldn’t use them!

I have literally never gotten a UTI from using scented tampons.  Didn’t know that was a thing.

Ohhh ok. Well I'm glad there's no risk of a UTI. I don't know where I got that info from but i heard about it somewhere. Anywho, I'm pretty sensitive in that area as it is so I'm gonna head back to the store. Thanks ladies!
