Ladies, do your parents like your husband/partner?

I’ve seen a lot of in law relationships that are iffy- not good at all. But I’ve also noticed it’s usually mother in laws that are catty to the wife of her son. 
Personally, my parents love my husband. Is this just a mother & son thing? Lmao
 
BTW... not saying that all mother in laws dislike their daughter in laws

My parents used to hate my man because he got me pregnant😂 but they like him now I suppose and my MIL always giving me hugs and kisses which I'm not exactly used to because I'm not a super affectionate person 😳

I actually get along with my MIL more than my own mother. She loves me! My mom on the other hand will tell me to delete her number and never talk to her again abd I'm such a bitch if I don't jump when she says jump. For a recent example I couldn't take her dogs to the pound because I was busy (had two appointments and had just moved to a new place 2 days ago) and she asked me the night before. When I told her I couldn't but I'd take them the day after it resulted in hell.

My parents don't particularly like my SO but they have shitty marriage themselves so I'm not about to take unwarranted marriage advice from them. My SO's parents adore me & I adore them. I hit the in-law lottery. My SO wasn't so lucky.

They do like him. Had a few freaked out “is he treating you right?” questions the first couple of years, but it had nothing to do with him and everything to do with my ex-BIL, so I didn’t get upset. Incidentally, my in-laws love me, too.

Yes my mil hates me. Goes out of her way to piss me off or make me feel like shit. There's been many times a heated argument got started and it always comes up that my husband choses me over her.... he responds with of course I do. That's my wife and I love her. I've tried everything to be nice and decent to her. 11 years later and I've just cut off contact with her bc I just can't try anymore.

Before my mom passed away, she loved my husband. And my father likes him and respects him. However, my husband thought my mom was okay and he kinda despises my father. But he will be polite when my father is around.
