where do you apply yeast infection cream?

so mum got me yeast infection cream, and i’m not sure if i’m suppose to put it INSIDE my vagina or around it? because i’m reading a website and it says ‘vaginal cream’ and says you need something to apply it INSIDE. um? do i need to do that cause i don’t have an applicator and i’m not sure i’m comfortable with that? lol. need help asap.

What I do is put a pea sized amount on my niddle finger and rub it in around the actual vagina and a little bit it. it helps me more when I do it that way
