Breakthrough bleeding all the time?

So as the title suggests, did you have random bleeding throughout the months on the mini pill (pogesterone only pill) ?

I have been on it for 3 months now and I have constant random bleeding that lasts for a week or a few days, stops for a week then starts again! I feel like I'm constantly on my period and always wearing pads, it's getting very frustrating and expensive! So for those of you who answered yes or used to does it get better? Will it eventually stop? Or am I going to bleed forever :(
