I’m a 20 year old college student and i’ve been dating my high school boyfriend for three years now. He’s in the Army and has been for the past two years. Him and I want to get married, but when my family found out, my mom cried and started saying this is a huge mistake. All of this is stressing me out because I wanted this to be a happy announcement but instead she’s making this miserable.. any tips on how to handle this situation? I want to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him. He’s my best friend and we both want forever.
