Did you still fit into your shoes at the end of your pregnancy?

My husband thinks I should stop show shopping because my feet will grow (I’m only 12 weeks) and I’m trying to prove him wrong 😂 so tell me- those of you with babies, could you still wear your old shoes by the end/after the baby was born? Thanks!!

I'm sorry to tell you this. I went up a half to full size my 1st pregnancy. I only gained 25 pounds that pregnancy. I lost all the baby weight, but my shoe size stayed up by a half size. That was 6.5 years ago. I had the most fabulous shoe collection and it all went bye-bye. I held on to them for 2 years hoping. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it does happen.

My feet never grew and I was pregnant during the summer both times. My first I gave birth in June and my second was pregnant throughout the entirety of the summer to have an autumn baby. They would get swollen a bit at the end when I’d been walking or on my feet too long, but my shoe size never changed!

I’m 28 weeks and have only gained 5 pounds and don’t have any extreme swelling. I’ve been wearing flip flops because my feet somehow got too fat for my normal slip on canvas shoes :(

I couldn't fit into my converse by my 3rd trimester, so I could only wear my flip flops. I ended up with pre-eclampsia and swelled up pretty badly but about 3 weeks PP I could wear the shoes again. Haven't tried any of my others like my heels yet though. My best friends sister went up one or two sizes 5 years ago when she was pregnant and never went back down

I went up a size pregnant. I only gained 30lbs (9.5lbs was just baby 😂), so recommended amount of weight. I had to go out & buy new shoes & now none of them fit, they’re waaaaay too big & any of the other ones I squeezed into are stretched out. I’d hold off for a bit til you see what your body is going to do

My feet grow half a size every pregnancy I’m on my second started at 7 at first baby now I’m an 8 and I’m 4months pregnant.
