Anyone been a stripper or is a stripper? I’m really thinking about being a stripper but have no idea how to start and what I need in order to be one?

Go to your local club and ask to speak to someone about dancing. 
I'm a waitress at a strip club. Every Wednesday is amateur night and local girls can come in and "try out" and if they win they get $100 and if they want to they can sign a contract and start within the next week. 
When you get hired on you need heels and something easy to take off. Adult stores, like Adam and Eve for example, have stripper clothes,shoes and accessories. The Adam and Eve here give 20% if you tell them you work at the strip club.

Check local clubs. Sometimes they do amateur night where you can get on stage and see it for yourself. You need tough skin because it does get very emotionally draining. After that if you're still adamant on it. Ask to talk to the club manager. Get in good with security they can actually help you alot too because they are usually close with managers. 
Few tips though from a previous dancer.
Watch your drinks closely 
Dont take drinks from people
Dont get invested in the drama with other girls. They are only out for themselves as you should be. 
Get a gym membership (shit is exhausting)
 
I'd go a little further away from where you live in case you dont want people knowing you're a dancer. 
Always tip the DJ! 
Flirt your way through the building. Even with girls! Girls tend to tip soooo much better.

I’d like to suggest really looking into what it’s like to be a stripper before you begin. I’m very supportive of people wanting to be sex workers, but it’s tough. I’ve heard a lot of strippers talk about how shitty customers are, the nearly nightly abuse they go through, how hard it is on their bodies.
