Hepatitis c and breastfeeding?

So I just found out I have hepatitis c. Before I get judged it was from a blood transfusion. This is my second pregnancy and my first I breastfeed this was before I had hepatitis c. I loved breastfeeding it was such a bond and I really do believe it is so healthy for baby. So they r sending me to see a specialist and I really want to see what my options are to breastfeeding. Like could I use a nipple shield if my nipples get cracked. Or should I just pump 😞 I’ve been going google crazy and so far from what I read is I can breastfeed. I was just wonder if anyone on here have any information on this. Or if there are any other moms out there that have hepatitis c and breastfeed or didn’t breastfeed. Any info will be very much appreciated!
