Blown vein?

2 days ago The nurse ended up doing an iv of fluids through this vein. What should I do? I'm worried because she drew blood and did an iv of fluids through this vein.

It will heal it's just blood that has came to the surface .. your body will absorb it naturally. Same thing as a bruise...but in a different sense

As a phlebotomist that’s what it looks like. It looks like she went through the vein by fishing (pulling needle back and Forth while it’s in your skin. ) and unfortunately it happens. They’re painful but they heal in a week or so.

I had the same but not quite as bad!! It started small but grew! It went away on its own in a few weeks!
