So I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis at my second appointment. I’m 12 weeks exactly today, and was prescribed metronidazole gel. I opened the pamphlet just now and it states not to use during pregnancy unless heavily supervised by a physician. So that made me look it up. The results I found were contradicting... Has anyone else been prescribed metronidazole during the first trimester? I’m worried to take it now!! 😱
