Society is so messed up

How has it ended up that our society is so fucked up that girls almost expect to be raped? When a girl says 'no' to sex, it seems like an achievement when the guy actually respects that. Like I shouldn't have to be happy that a guy asked for consent, and I shouldn't need to appreciate the fact that sex then didn't happen, it should be a given. But somehow, the world's got to a point where any guys that ask for consent have to be appreciated because there's so many guys out there than don't. It's disgusting. Shit needs to change
