Hi mommas! First time mom here at 37 weeks 5 days.

I had a doctor appt yesterday and I was checked for the first time. 2 cm dialated, 75% effaced, and head is at -1 station! Yay!

However, I have had light bleeding since getting checked. I talked to the nurse, who said it was normal because of how sensitive everything is. She told me if it hasn't stopped in 24 hours, to call.

I thought it had slowed but I woke up with a small spot of blood in my undies this morning. I'm still wiping some every time too.

It is the brownish blood, like at the start of my period.

Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be concerned?

I know my nurse said it was normal, but I'm feeling a bit worried still.
