Gender Reveal ideas ?

Hey ladies this is my first baby and i plan on finding out the gender between mid November and early december .
 Anybody plan on having a gender reveal party ? I want to but ill have to have it indoors(due to the cold)  which limits the original ideas i had . 
Looking for new ideas for an indoor reveal other than cakes, cupcakes , balloons , and confetti.

With my first we popped a balloon that had blue sparkles in it. Then with my husband's family we had blue powder shoot out of his car's exhaust.
With this baby we will be announcing on Christmas and will be giving gifts like this to our parents.

Do you have pets? We are getting our dog a special doggie cake with the gender color inside so when she eats it we will know :)

Egg smashing? You hard boil 11 eggs, leave 1 raw. Color 6 blue, 6 pink. Take turns smashing one on your forehead and whatever one is raw is the sex

You could still go outside for a few minutes to do the reveal and then go back in afterwards.  Reveals don’t usually take very long.
