Ovulation confusion help

My period ended Sunday. Yesterday I got a light control line for an ovulation test but then today it was nothing 🤷🏽‍♀️ I couldn’t of already ovulated I’m supposed to ovulated on Monday. Why would it be no line today and something yesterday? The top is yesterday.
