Trying to set up a home with SO, but we always argue about little details. I want to make a move on one, he thinks it’s too early; he shows me a house, it’s way too far from my work place (40min drive). He says my standards are too high, but when I show him houses in our budget he comes up with conditions he never mentioned before.

It doesn’t feel like a team decision. It’s like we’re working against each other. Is this a bad sign living together is not going to work for us? The whole process is just ruining all my excitement about making this step. It’s become all about the house and I think it’s my fault for being stubborn, but these things are important to me. Is it supposed to be this hard?
