I am Canadian and I am gonna be marrying an American. I have no criminal record at all but he has one from when he was 18 (almost 30 years ago) so i think he isn’t allowed in Canada?

I was wondering if anyone has married an american being Canadian and what the process was. Did you become a duel citizen, could you work in America ? Do they become a duel citizen.
