Norethindrone?

Is anyone on Norethindrone for their Endometriosis? I was just diagnosed and prescribed this. I hate medications, birth controls and scared of the side effects. I cannot be on any other birth control due to blood clots. Experiences, opinions please?

I was on norethindrone for a year and my periods got worse! I was having periods twice a month and they were so. Painful. Have you tried IUD?

I just had my second Endometriosis surgery and doctor wants me to take norethindrone 5mg for 30 days then we try medicated IUI after that. He put me on it to help suppress the Endometriosis.

I was prescribed this for my endo also but my period wouldn't stop. My period lasted for a month and bleeding got worse after I stopped it😒. I was changing pad every hour & I got so sick from the bleeding that I had to get 2units of blood transfusion. So I told my Dr. I'm not even going to try being on norethindrone again!!

I took this for my Endo and it was a dream!! No more periods (I was having bleeding that would last a month and a half). My husband and I are TTC so I stopped taking it in August and man do I miss not having these period cramps!!

I bleed more days than I dont bleed... I hate it

I was on this for over a year but my periods got worse. Heavier and more painful. I also had more pain from my PCOS. Hope it works for you.
