Does your parents let your boyfriend sleep over?

Hi i’m having like a mini debate with my boyfriend and he’s complaining about how we have to sleep in the living room, etc and i’m just saying about how we should be grateful about the fact he’s aloud to sleep over period. It’s just kinda making me feel shitty about the fact that “sleeping in the living room” is such a big deal. i’m just happy to be spending time with him.

He should be glad to even sleep next to you. ALOT of parents I knew and know do not allow sleep overs with boyfriends at all including mine.

and for anyone whose confused on the comparing thing , we’re going to halloween horror nights and since it’ll be late my boyfriend and are other friend couple is sleeping over too and i was telling him what the guy was saying about he was so happy to be able to spend the night with his girlfriend because her mom is even stricter than mine and i said i just wish you shared the same perspective but i shouldn’t of said that because it’s not fair to make him feel like he’s not a good enough boyfriend or whatever .

Lucky I can’t even be in the house if my boyfriend sleeps over (he’s friends with my brother. He usually stays the night when my brother has birthday parties) I had to leave the house at ten and go next door to my grandparents last birthday party. I’m hoping that I get to stay in the house next party I just wanna sleep in my own bed I wouldn’t even sleep in the same room as him I just think it’s sucky I have to leave

When my husband and I were dating he was allowed to sleepover sometimes but I had to sleep in my room and he had to sleep in the living room

I think he does it out of respect for your parents! My boyfriend is allowed to spend the night and everything but he still gets embarrassed when he wakes up the next morning and always tries ro leave really early before my parents wake up 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Tell him that when he gets his own house and pays in the bills in said house he can what he wants but until then he has to follow the rules that your parents put in place.
