Does love fade??

Just heard that, over the years, romantic love with your partner can fade. Is this true? Do you ever stop loving your partner like that? What’s your experience?

I don’t believe real love fades. It changes and evolves but not fades. Lust fades. Love is real and true. My boyfriend and I have been together 3 years and live together. We still cuddle and kiss and hang out together and want to be around each other.

It depends. Some times you don't feel like loving someone or you don't feel emotionally that you love them. The way I was taught is that love is a choice. You choose to truly love someone because that's who you wanna spend the rest of your life. Romance fades, but don't confuse romance with love. An abuser can shower you in romance, that doesn't mean he/she loves you.
