Hip pain?

Question

Any of you ladies having hip pain while sleeping? I’m constantly waking up during the night having to switch sides because my hip is hurting. If I put a pillow between my legs it seems to make it worse. They don’t bother me during the day but at night they wake me up.
Anyone having the same thing? And if so what did you fine to help?

I have this EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Usually the left hip hurts me the most and that’s the side you’re supposed to sleep on. Usually I just rotate and deal with it 😓

Yep. I have spd and so bad at night. Similar to what someone else said. The best thing I did was get two fleece blankets folded and put them under the sheet of the bed. So it’s raised and squidgy. I also have one of those really long sausage pregnancy pillows. You want to wedge that between your knees all way to your feet. Can also wedge bit under your bump. That has definitely helped! Still hurts to roll over. Just make sure you use your arms a lot. Cor we’ll have super strong arms!💪💪💪 xx 💪

Trust me on this one.....if you have a Sam’s club, go buy two of their big fluffy blankets that are 15ish bucks. Fold them over one time (both) and sleep on those on top of your mattress. If you don’t have a sams, just try to find thick, soft fleece blankets. I swear this saved me, I was having the same issue, and it worked so well I brought those blankets with me anywhere I’d be staying over night. We even had a memory foam mattress, not enough!! You need a soft, padded “nest.”

Yep I feel you! I’m suffering so bad with it each night, I can’t even roll on to my other side without being in so much pain and when I get out of bed to go toilet it’s such a effort have to pull myself up from my head board. Through the day I’m fine to hip wise just my back and pains down my legs that hurt then. 😂 I can’t wait till had this baby got 6wks left I want my body back.. 🙄 this is my 3rd pregnancy and defo the hardest..

Yep! My hips go dead and like you say, turning over is so painful! I have to do it in stages and wait for the pain to subside 😩 
I had to have a scan to check my placenta and they did tell me baby weighs 4lbs 3oz so I’ve come to terms with no wonder it hurts to turn over 😂

Yep! It is so incredibly painful to turn over in the middle of the night and my hips are incredibly sore for the whole day as well. Just gotta keep telling myself only a couple more weeks left. And I think it’s worse with the more kids you have though. I’m on baby #4 but pregnancy #5.

Yep, can’t find the right position even with my pregnancy pillow. I usually end up on the couch by 3am. I can prop myself up in different positions to take the pressure off my hips.

I just gave in and bought a brand new mattress because of this. My old one was at the end of its life anyway so I went for it. I have only slept on it for 2 nights but it seems to help a little. Still some pain but not as excruciating as before. 
If anyone is interested, I did quite a bit of research on the best mattress for pregnancy and ended up with the Nectar. It’s affordable as mattresses go and very comfy! My husband likes it too.
