Hi all I am new to the group. I am starting metformin today. I was prescribed it last month but didn't want to take it. We have been ttc since January we had a early miscarriage in June. After the mc my doctor sent me to specialist (not a very good one) who prescribed metformin (maybe for pcos) I'm working on getting a second opinion, as I'm still unsure if I have pcos or not (again shitty doctor) my cycle this month was so messed up spotting all month I'm in my tww but definitely not pregnant with all this irregular bleeding. So I decided to give the metformin a try at least until I can see another doctor, it's my best option at this point. So I'm taking a low 500mg dose once a day. Any tips I have herd side effects can be an issue for the first little while?
