Pack n Play or nay???

My mom and I went shopping for baby stuff yesterday which was so much fun. We had a little debate though over a pack n play. Since it would be primarily used for visiting her for overnights we found one that I really liked but upon checking it out at the store my mom didn't like how "tacky" it looked. Therefore we decided to wait and research other options for containing a baby for overnights. Hence my post.

Any new moms out there who found other alternatives to the pack n play?
