upper lip tie?

Is this a lip tie? We didnt have any super obvious signs. Shes a month old and at her 1 week apt had her tongue tie clipped.. no pain breastfeeding and she eats well, i just notice i feel like she doesnt have a deep latch and has a clicking noise when she eats. only reason i looked into it is she randomly became very fussy and i believe its a gas issue and i read that can play a part.

Yes, my daughter has a lip tie that extends below the gum line. We revised her tongue tie but chose not to have her lip tie revised as it doesn’t affect breastfeeding in the way that the tongue tie does. Every time she latches, I have to adjust her lip with my finger so it isn’t tucked under her gum- this helps form a seal and prevents her from taking in too much air while feeding.

Yes my son had one too. He had a tongue tie as well, and had both revised via laser. He was spitting up a lot - what looked like everything he ate. His poor latch was causing him to suck in lots of air while nursing. He’s 4 months now, had the revisions done around 2 months.
