I never have lol... my son hated it 😂 he would only sleep freely without being wrapped in anything or he would be mad and rage lol

Yes we have transitioned to one arm out though. She doesnt enjoy a dull swaddle anymore but tolerates one arm free. We also only swaddle at bedtime. She'll be 4 mos next week

I actually read someone’s post awhile ago that said at some point around 3 months you’re not “supposed to” swaddle them anymore, but if it makes her happy I’m going to keep doing it. She‘s 11 weeks today and LOVES to be swaddled.

I can’t tell if my babe is starting to be over the swaddle (he’ll be 12 weeks on Thursday). He’s discovered his hands and is constantly trying to wiggle his arms out so he can put his hands in his mouth. I’m scared to not swaddle him though because I think he’ll wake himself up!

We stopped bc she kept fighting the swaddle to get at her hands. And even with her hands swaddled at her mouth she fought it so aggressively I was scared she was going to flip herself over.l into her belly.  After some trial and error with one arm out, we are using the Merlin sleep suit and it seems to work for the time being.

I never swaddle any of my babies 🤷🏼‍♀️ that way they don't have the startle reflex for long, they learn how to sleep normally and also develop hand/arm coordination much faster!

15wks Friday... & she let me swaddle her 😍 earlier... Very rare tho lol
