I went to the doctor a couple days ago for a cold and was sent straight to the hospital. BP was 143/104. All my tests came back negative for preeclampsia, but my BP kept going up (highest 156/95) So the doctor gave me labetalol 100mg and sent me home with a prescription to take it twice a day.

This is my sixth pregnancy but I have lost three early. So this will be my third full term pregnancy. I didn’t have this problem in the past.

Does anyone else have to take this medication? Or experienced this?
