🙄🙄 yall...I'm going to take a moment and woosah because people today have definatly tried to test my nerves today.

Apparently my husband and I are mean and horrible people so says our neighbor.

We moved into this house almost a year ago. We are not terribly social people, we like our privacy and staying to ourselves. Our kids dont even like playing with the neighborhood kids, they rather play with each other!

Point being we dont bother anybody!

Anywho, our neighborhood has assigned parking. My household only has 1 car and so do the neighbors on either side of us. Therefore, we have 3 parking spots that go unused.

Now, a few times I have had people come over and they will park in a spot that's not mine, I immediately tell them where to move their car. People park in our extra spot all the time and we never say anything because it's not that big of a deal.

HOWEVER, a few times we had some people come over for like a minute literally running in to grab something and leave and we would hear from them that our neighbor would fuss at them about parking in their extra spot for those few minutes.

Last night, they said something to my brother who immediately called me. (Keep in mind these people have NEVER said anything to us directly ONLY to our visitors) and told him to stay out their spot and that if we were nicer they probably wouldn't have mind it so much. My husband had enough. I'm pissed so my husband and I go over there today to ask them what their problem was.

You guys will not effing believe what their response was...

They dont like us because we never came over and said Hi to them. I shit you not, those were the exact words. They said we never came over and introduced ourselves the whole time we been here. Are you kidding me? If I'm not mistaken, when a new person moves into your neighborhood isnt it customary to introduce yourselves to them??

Even still, does that warrant harassing our guests??? I can't with people today.
