Before my bf and I began our now 2 years and 1 month relationship he was flirting with a bunch of girls. Typical right? Well we are in love, but because of his past with experiencing the loss of his SO, he fears loosing his children and having the same feeling. We are so in love with each other, that I want to have this mans babies. But when this conversation is brought up he kind of avoids it or pays no attention or even makes a joke (as in it sounded funny the way you worded it). The contradicting part is that I came across multiple messages such as these...

In this particular message his response after this was “I was just kidding.”

When I brought up the whole having his babies conversation he confessed he didn’t plan on having them. Which I understand we are still young and have a lot to live before settling down like that. But that gets me thinking... what if later on he just does not want kids at all, and I literally wasted my time with someone who wants nothing to do with that? I want a family, I have told him if he doesn’t want to have kids with me I’d get inseminated, for which he did not appreciate. He was ok with adopting which idk why? I’d prefer having a baby of my own.
