When the quantitative comes back from the lab....and it says “within normal limits.” My mind races.....but that’s for a not pregnant person. For someone who didn’t see a vvfl on her test. For someone who didn’t show her husband a test for the first time in the entirety of their marriage, because she knew he’d see it too.

And now here I am, standing in the kitchen, doing my best to not bawl like an idiot. Because I’m the one who is within the “normal limit” and has to tell her husband tonight that although our eyes didn’t deceive us, it still isn’t our turn. 😭
