I get my period sooner than I should sometimes it lasts too long.. is this the start? I got my period when I was 10.. So maybe it will end early??

When you started your period is no indicator of when you'll go into peri. 
But yes, many women start by having irregular cycles. Closer together, further apart, missed, longer, shorter or a range of the above. You should have your bloods run to check your hormone levels. Hypothyroidism mimics peri menopause well.
