So I didn't really have a shower for my first son. My "friend" was just crappy and threw it together last minute and only 4 people were invited. No one had much money so it was just not a big deal. Well we are better off now, so we are having a nice one for this baby. Well, I rented a place for $125 when I was about 2 months pregnant because it's a popular place and it was going fast and I wanted in to be in October. So I invited 35 people. Everyone said they were coming. So I planned tons of food, decor, prizes etc. Now, you know how many say they're coming now? 12!! And out of them I think only maybe 8 actually will. I KNOW this is my second baby. And I DO NOT want to hear if you think its tacky or not, because it will piss me off. I put that no one HAD to bring a gift, that they could bring hand me downs, or whatever. So if you're going to tell me that I'm being selfish, save it. I've actually spent A LOT so others could have fun at it. I'm pretty upset about the whole thing. And no, I can't get a refund on the place. I just dont know why people have to be assholes :( rant over!!

Also, this baby is 8 years after my first. So I have more people in my life etc. Which is why I planned such a big thing. Also we tried 5 years for this baby, and almost gave up. So it's a big deal to us.
