Precipitous Labor... what to expect for baby #2?

Question

I had a precipitous labor with baby #1 (first contraction to birth just over three hours). 
This sounds great, but it’s like a train that won’t stop, no time for meds. No time to breath.
I’m pregnant with baby #2. Will labor be even faster? What do I do with my first baby when I go into labor? Any chance for meds without an induction?
Any moms experience rapid labor with first? How did your second labor go?

My first was 4 hours from first contraction to birth, and my second was about 1 hr and 50 mins from first contraction to birth. I enjoyed them though, and certainly wouldn’t say either was precipitous. I’m curious to see what baby #3 will do!

I have had precipitous labor with my children. My first was 7 hours from the first contraction, second was 4, third was 3, and the last one... 1 hour 40 mins from the first contraction until birth.

With my son my labour was only 2 hours 20 minutes from first contraction till when he was born! I am so terrified for this bub 😣

My first was 3 hours so they’re inducing this one a week early just in case

I’m a bit worried about this too. I joke about birthing the baby in the car...
I had my first in 5:48 from when my water broke to birth (and about 4:48 from contractions starting to birth). 
My OB, midwife and doula all day it’s way more likely for baby 2 to come as quickly or quicker this time. 😳😬🤭

I had a 6 hour, 36 hour and an hour long labour.  In that order. There is just no way of knowing how long it will take...Im hoping for a bit longer than an hour this time around though, it's my last baby and I want to take it all in!

I can’t answer all your questions, as my labor wasn’t quite as fast as yours and I’m still pregnant with my second. My first labor was 7.5 hours from the time my water broke until I had my baby, and I thought that was quick lol. Anyway, our plan is for my parents to care for our first while I’m having this baby. My parents work but will take off that day. But every labor is different so it’s not really possible to know for sure what’ll happen until it does. Goodluck!
