What worked for me...
I hope no one is bothered by me sharing what I did the month before/month I got pregnant (January/February, 2018)
I remember I found it helpful all those months of TTC to read what other people found success with and I’ve been meaning to post this for a while!
1) Whole 30 diet for one month, committed
2) acupuncture
3) seed cycling; google it... I put my seeds in healthy smoothies every morning. (this was VERY helpful in regulating my cycle)
4) sex EVERY day for 10 days leading up to, throughout, and a few days after my fertile window.
5) had implantation spotting exactly one week before period was due (was like the textbook description; a couple drops of pink when I wiped ONCE)
6) tested on the day of missed period, got a positive, and never tested again.
I did have EWCM a couple of times that cycle and hadn’t really had it before. I felt like the whole 30 diet got my body running really smoothly before conception, the seed cycling was important for my hormone regulation, the acupuncture was helpful to get me relaxed and lower stress, and the sex was, well, the fun and necessary part. Ha.
Obviously this could have all just been random but I felt these things really helped me, even if just for distraction. I should also mention that two other friends, plus myself, all ended up conceiving our first cycle doing acupuncture after months of trying. 🤷🏻♀️
Wishing the best of luck and baby dust to all the women out there trying to get their positive. It will happen!
