1st period after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage at the beginning of last month. My period started October 5th and I'm still bleeding! Going on 11 days now.. It has been a super light period so I haven't been too concerned... but I am starting to get annoyed as it is enough to use a tampon. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
