Anyone have a c section about 4 weeks ago?

Had an emergency section just over 4 weeks ago now. 
Is it normal to still feel all bruised and swollen? 
I’m undecided wether to get in touch with the doctor to see if I’ve got a slight infection as it still hurts when I move around, when last week I felt ok.

I had one 5 weeks ago this coming Friday. My incision is healed. My bleeding has stopped but I also feel sore and a little 'puffy'. The incision isn't red, no drainage. I do have an internal stitch poking through but I called them and they said it's normal. I can't wear my baby yet because the carrier that goes around my hips puts pressure above the incision and it's too painful. I think it's normal. It is major abdominal surgery so I think it takes a lot of time. Much more healing time than a vaginal birth. I'm a very active person though so this has been pretty frustrating..

I had one about 5 weeks ago my scar is healed but my stomach is still sore at the bottom. My doctor said that is normal because it’s takes up to 8 weeks to completely heal but I have a doctors app next week so they said they will take a look at it!

Yes normal. I had one 6 weeks ago and my tummy is bruised and very tender!

Definitely check with your doc. I had emergency section too and by 4 weeks all pain was cleared up. I went off all pain meds by 2 weeks and could sit up in bed finally at 3 weeks. By 4 I was 100% back to normal. Sounds like you may have something else going on.

I had one 6 weeks ago today! I don’t feel bruised or swollen but there are days where I still take Tylenol because of being sore.

I had one a month ago today and my doctor said it looks great. I'm still feeling the pain/bruising some, but he said it's normal. He said to just not overdo it and know my limits

It will be 6 weeks friday for me and my incision area is still so sore she said its the nerves mending themselves back together so it will take some time and it actually takes 8 weeks to heal but may take a lil longer for others depends on ur body.
