So me and my boyfriend have been foreplaying a lot lately before the big day(pop the 🍒) lol. I’m 22 btw. He’s been trying to prepare me for it so that way when we do it I don’t find it very nerve wracking and painful. My boyfriend and I have tried a few times fingering and oral to see how I would do. He received some advice from a friend of his and he was told that lube would really help me so that way it’s easier and less painful. He bought this cool strawberry flavored lube and we were excited to use it. We used it, had fun, the next day I noticed a bit of discharge but I thought that it was just my vagina trying to regulate it’s Ph level from the day before. Day 2 I woke up, not gonna lie, 4am! With a lot of discharge, pain, and itchiness 😣 It was so uncomfortable I jumped in the tub took a bath and dropped in a cup of Epsom Salt. Layed there for like 45min. The sensation was so unbearable after the bath that I had to call in to work 😭 I immediately contacted a Gyn, made a same day appointment and indeed it was a yeast infection! Ladies please please! Never mess around with flavored lubes. They’re death in a bottle. Turns out those lubes have glycerin and we females know that sweets and moisture down there is no good. I can’t believe I didn’t think about that tbh. My hygiene down there is very specific. I hand wash my undies with vinegar and unscented detergent. I don’t use anything scented down there. My gosh! 😢 I honestly can’t believe girls are able to use that. I’m too sensitive down there I guess.🤦🏻‍♀️
